These Quest Terms & Conditions ("Quest Terms") govern participation in promotional programs, campaigns, quests, challenges, reward initiatives, and related activities operated by the Layer 69 Foundation (the "DogeOS", "we", "us", or "our") in connection with the DogeOS ecosystem (collectively, the "Quest Program" or "Quests").
These Quest Terms apply solely to the Quest Program and are separate from the terms governing other products or services in the DogeOS ecosystem, including those operated by third parties.
By participating in any Quest, you agree to these Quest Terms.
1. Overview
DogeOS may from time to time operate Quests designed to encourage participation in the DogeOS ecosystem. Quests may include completing tasks, interacting with blockchain networks or decentralized applications, participating in community initiatives, or engaging with ecosystem services.
Each Quest may include specific instructions, requirements, deadlines, and potential rewards. Those campaign-specific rules form part of these Quest Terms.
2. Eligibility
To participate in Quests you must:
be at least 18 years of age,
comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, and
not be located in, organized under the laws of, or ordinarily resident in any jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions or restrictions under applicable law.
DogeOS reserves the right to restrict or prohibit participation from certain jurisdictions or participants at its discretion.
Employees, contractors, advisors, or affiliates of DogeOS may be excluded from participation in certain Quests.
3. Quest Participation
Participation in Quests may require completing tasks such as:
interacting with DogeOS ecosystem services
interacting with blockchain networks or smart contracts
completing social or community actions
connecting wallets or accounts
engaging with ecosystem partners or applications
Quest completion may be verified using:
blockchain transaction data
wallet activity
application telemetry
third-party integrations
manual review or automated verification tools
Completion of a task does not guarantee eligibility for rewards.
4. Rewards
Some Quests may offer rewards, which may include digital assets, tokens, points, access privileges, or other incentives.
Rewards are not guaranteed.
DogeOS may:
limit the number of rewards available
establish eligibility thresholds
delay reward distribution
modify reward amounts
cancel or revoke rewards
distribute rewards on a first-come, first-verified basis
Completion of a Quest does not create a contractual right to receive a reward.
Rewards may be distributed at a later date or may be subject to additional verification steps.
5. Fraud Prevention and Disqualification
To maintain fairness and integrity, DogeOS may monitor participation for suspicious or abusive behavior.
DogeOS reserves the right to disqualify participants and withhold rewards if it determines, in its sole discretion, that a participant has engaged in:
automated participation
bot usage
Sybil attacks
multiple account manipulation
false identity submission
transaction manipulation
scripted interactions
collusion or coordinated abuse
exploitation of vulnerabilities
any other behavior intended to manipulate Quest outcomes
Rewards may be revoked if fraud is detected after distribution.
6. Third-Party Services and Applications
Certain Quests may involve interaction with third-party services, including:
decentralized applications ("dApps")
blockchain networks
wallets
analytics platforms
social media platforms
ecosystem partner applications
DogeOS does not control or operate these services and is not responsible for:
their availability
their security practices
their privacy policies
smart contract risks
transaction failures
Your interactions with third-party services are at your own risk and subject to their respective terms and policies.
The Quest Program may be operated using third-party infrastructure providers that facilitate campaign management, verification, or reward distribution.
7. Third-Party Quest Providers
Certain Quests may be created or operated by third-party ecosystem projects, developers, or partners participating in the DogeOS ecosystem ("Ecosystem Partners").
Ecosystem Partner Quests may involve:
interacting with third-party decentralized applications
completing tasks on partner platforms
connecting wallets to partner services
interacting with partner smart contracts
submitting information to partner platforms
Ecosystem Partner Quests are operated independently by the respective partner. DogeOS:
does not control or operate partner applications
does not guarantee partner rewards
does not verify the security of partner smart contracts
does not guarantee partner Quest availability
Participation in Ecosystem Partner Quests may be subject to additional terms and privacy policies of the partner project. Users are responsible for reviewing those terms before interacting with partner services.
Rewards offered in Ecosystem Partner Quests are provided by the partner project unless explicitly stated otherwise. DogeOS does not guarantee the delivery, timing, or value of partner-provided rewards.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, rewards offered in Ecosystem Partner Quests are the responsibility of the respective partner project. DogeOS is not responsible for the issuance, timing, or fulfillment of partner-provided rewards.
8. Blockchain Risks
Participation in Quests may involve interaction with public blockchain networks.
Blockchain technologies involve inherent risks including:
network congestion
transaction failures
irreversible transactions
smart contract vulnerabilities
malicious actors
protocol bugs
unexpected network behavior
DogeOS does not guarantee the performance, security, or reliability of any blockchain network or smart contract.
9. Program Changes
DogeOS may at any time:
modify Quest rules
pause or cancel a Quest
change reward amounts
adjust eligibility requirements
suspend participation
terminate the Quest Program
These changes may occur without prior notice.
10. Taxes
Participants are solely responsible for determining and paying any applicable taxes associated with participation in Quests or receipt of rewards.
DogeOS does not provide tax advice.
11. No Employment or Compensation Relationship
Participation in the Quest Program is voluntary and does not create any employment, contractor, partnership, or agency relationship with DogeOS.
Participation in Quests does not constitute compensation for services.
12. Disclaimer
THE QUEST PROGRAM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." DOGEOS MAKES NO WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS REGARDING QUEST AVAILABILITY, TRACKING OR VERIFICATION ACCURACY, REWARD DISTRIBUTION, REWARD VALUE, SYSTEM RELIABILITY
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOGEOS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM PARTICIPATION IN QUESTS, FAILURE TO RECEIVE REWARDS, BLOCKCHAIN TRANSACTION ERRORS, THIRD-PARTY APPLICATION FAILURES, TECHNICAL ISSUES, DATA LOSS.
14. Governing Law
These Quest Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws determined by DogeOS's governing jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
